Cuttack School Of Music is founded by Dharmesh Singh, Piano Teacher who wanted to teach Church Music and provide the practical Career for the working Musicians. His idea caught fire and the idea became the centre of learning Music, that is Cuttack School Of Music. The school is co-educational institution of Dance & Music. We prepare students for career in performing arts through the study and practice of contemporary Music & Dance. The school has a long established reputation for execellence in the field of Performing Arts. The Music Program provides a solid foundation in Music Theory, Music History, Compositions, Conducting, Performance ensemble. Music students possess both analytical skills, creativity and are highly motivated self-disciplined. Music students have an opportunity to perform extensively, both in solo and ensemble situations. They also gain practical skills that help them execel both on stage and in classroom. The school is dedicated to Music & Dance as an art form that elevates the lives of all who experience it ; that embraces and transcends the entire range of human emotions, expressions and community that is vital to the cultural enrichment of society. THE TEACHING METHOD :
Music is a dead language until its Rhythm, Melody, and Harmony vibrate in your mind and heart. When that happens, you understand why Music is the official Universal language. How alive it becomes is entirely up to you. Cuttack School Of Music has the most well-established teaching method is purely Staff Notation. The teaching method of the school emphasises reading of Individual Notes, Rhythm, Counting, Theory of Music and Sight reading. The school build strong entervalic and note reading skills, while encouraging creativity and complete musical Development of students. The method of school approaches note reading both from intervalic and single note approaches. The students are to sing the names of the notes aloud while they play the exercises in Musical Instruments. The school focuses on developing the entire students ability to sing, to more gracefully, to auditiate Musical substance with understanding, to make palpable physical connection to Music. The primary school students have been taught Music lessons through the help of Alphabet but later on slowly we introduce Staff Notation to the children. The Music Books are Worldwide recognized, So, the teaching Notes taught under the syllabus of "ABRSM, ROCKSCHOOL & TRINITY COLLEGE OF MUSIC, LONDON."

CSM Programs :The Cuttack School of Music provides students with a rich and varied music education experience. Private instruction is offered in piano, keyboard, bass guitar, electric guitar, mandoln, violin, voice, drums & theory of music to students of all ages and levels. CSM's musical training includes Western Classical to jazz, opera, musical theater, folk and popular music. The CSM student has the benefit of outstanding individual instruction, as well as the opportunity to perform in a variety of ensembles. The continuously evolving curriculum currently includes classical music programs, summer programs, chamber ensembles, recitals, competitions, diploma program, Early Childhood Music and Adult Program. Each student is encouraged to join ensembles, enroll in theory/composition, or attend workshops and perform frequently by participating in recitals, competitions, or certifications.
